Best Ever Fruit Crumble : Healthy Peach Crumble Recipe

Today I am sharing the delicious Peach Crumble Recipe, which is good for your health. Before that just look at the health benefits of peaches.

Health Benefits of Peach

Antioxidant. It’s peel and pulp possess significant antioxidant properties. The presence of chlorogenic acid in peaches also contribute to their protective effects.

Muscle strength and regular heartbeat. Contains potassium, vital for proper nerve signaling and cellular functioning of the body. Help in metabolic processes, utilizing carbohydrates, maintaining electrolyte balance and regulation of muscular tissues.

Skincare. Rich in vitamin C which maintains healthy skin. Protects against free radicals and infection. Has antioxidants zeaxanthin and lutein with anti-inflammatory effect on skin damage caused by ultraviolet radiations.

Anti-aging. Is a source of zinc which has anti-aging properties. It also boosts testosterone levels in the body.

Peach Crumble Recipe

Peach Crumble Topping Recipe


Peach Base

  • Jaggery – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon sticks – 2
  • Peach (sliced with the skin) – 2

For the oats topping

  • Oats – 2 tbsp
  • Oat bran – 1 tbsp
  • Almonds (chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Walnuts (chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Raisins – 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder – ¼ tsp
  • Vanilla essence – ¼ tsp


Peach Base

  • Combine all the ingredients in ¼ cup water
  • Mix well and let it cook till peaches become soft


  • Mix oats, oat bran, almonds and walnuts and roast in a non-stick pan on slow flame till lightly browned
  • Cool it.
  • Add the raisins, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence.
  • Blend in a mixie for 30 seconds.

Peach Crumble

  • Spread the peaches on a lightly greased baking tray.
  • Sprinkle the topping over it.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 15 to 20 mins till the topping turns golden brown.
